The workshop is sponsored by the Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica "F Severi" (INdAM) and will be held in the Palazzone, an historical building of Cortona (Tuscany), owned by the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa.
The aim of the workshop, as well as in the previous editions - 1995, 1999, 2003 and 2007 - is to present the state of the art in convex geometry with a special emphasis on connections between convexity and analysis. The themes of the meeting will include, for example, classical convexity, local theory of Banach spaces, analytic developments of the Brunn-Minkowski theory, geometric inequalities of isoperimetric type, variational problems in convex geometry, convexity properties of solutions of PDE's, and so on.
Registration will take place at the Palazzone on Monday morning from 8.45 a.m. to 9.45 a.m.
